This place is the pits. I honestly can’t think of one positive thing to say about the chain-tastic Genghis Grill.

At $9 a bowl, the limp veggies, straight from a bottle sauces and stingy portion sizes are all of the more offensive.

I made the mistake of not looking at a menu before we got settled into a booth and gave drink orders. Our 5 year old loves stir fry noodles. We needed to get in and out quickly. It seemed like a no brainer for lunch (the Mixx is right next door, but we eat there often & wanted a new experience).

I had no idea that the GG bill would run us almost $30 with tip! I have had better Mongolian barbecue at mall food courts (and for a fraction of the price).
The selection of ingredients was lackluster, to say the least. The watery “stir fry mix” looked nauseating and too many of the veggies were pickled, not fresh (jalapenos, mini corn, etc).
TIP: Genghis Khan on Bell Street/39th serves up fresh and delicious Mongolian BBQ. It was already one of our favorite restaurants, but after eating at the execrable Genghis Grill, I will never take Genghis Khan’s superior service & cuisine for granted.
